From Rod:
Still in Warren County, and still teaching at Seeger.  I realized I'm the only one from our class to actually go back...probably the only one they'd take...or the only one foolish enough.  Preaching at Tab Christian Church (17 years) and operating the family farm.  Remarried last year and we have six kids between the two of us.  Our Christmas card was a remake of the Brady Bunch boxes. Three boys, three girls (no Alice)

Hello everyone, John and I will be celebrating our 30th Anniversary on June 9th, so I gues that means we will be celebrating it with all of you on the 13th.
We have to great Son's.  John Ryan will be 26 June 7th and will be married to a great girl for 2 years on July 7th.  John Ryan helps his Uncle on the Family Farm and just recently opened his own Servise Shop in Oxford called, Dadacz Service Center.  I am anxiously waiting for that 1st grand baby, but he is pretty stubborn and everything has to be just perfect and the right time.
Scott just trned 23 in March and totallhy ammzes me, when he lived at home he was a total slob, you were lucky if you could walk through his room.  Now that he is on his own I wonder wjo lives in his house, it's always spotless, who ever would of that...
Scott is a Process Mechanic on 3rd shift at Drug Plastics.
I have worked at Drug Plastics since they opened in 1993.  It is  plactic blow molding company that primarily manufactures pharmcutical bottles.  It's a great company to work for and close to home, 5  minutes and I'm there...  We have lived at the same address since we were married, built a differnt house but same address.  John is a farmer and along with managing the Family Farm he works for an awesome family on ther farm and has been there 22 years.  Yep we pretty much stick with what we start with,  marrage, home , jobs...I guess you could say we are commited.

From John:
I attached a four-year old photograph of our family because it is the most recent that I currently have on my computer. I am married to Twila, my high school sweetheart. We have been married for 26 years (in May). Our four children are John (22), Joseph (19), Jennifer (17), and Jordan (14). The boys are in college, Jennifer is a Junior at Seeger, and Jordan is in 8th grade at Seeger.

It appears that we have not gotten far in life. We currently live one road south of my parents. We love it here in Warren County and we moved back here after having lived in Idaho, Lafayette, Indianapolis, and Auburn, Alabama.

I am looking forward to visiting with folks at the reunion.

From Tracy:
I have been haunted for the past twenty years since writing my Bio for the ten year reunion. It seems that as I wrote about being married to Miss Nude Black Vermont, living on welfare, driving a Cadillac, etc., some of you actually believed everything I wrote. Well I lied and I want to set the record straight. My favorite group was not the Bay City Rollers, and I did not like S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y Night. My favorite song in 1979 was “Happy Birthday”, it meant I was eighteen; I had a baby’s brain and an old man’s heart, I felt as though I was living in the middle of doubt (thanks Alice). Now I have old man’s everything and I don’t live in the middle of doubt, I’m right smack in the front of the doubt line.

I spent the last thirty years preparing to run the Boston Marathon. Imagine my surprise when I sent in my application and they said I had to live in or near Boston. Wow, what an eye opener, I guess I could run the Williamsport Marathon gas station, seems as though everybody’s pumping their own gas nowadays, maybe I should have acted on that impulse back in the day.

Changing channels now, are you ready for the digital age? I recently had one of the digital exams by a doctor who I now feel knows me a lot better than I know myself. I was digitally re-mastered. I still shudder when I think about it; it was so cold and sterile, if only the good doctor made house calls.

Too much information? You don’t have to read this stuff! If you are still reading I’m glad because now it’s time for some gossip. I happen to know that two members of the Seeger class of 1979 are on the Board of Directors of the Warren County Community Foundation, check out the website to see the good things this foundation has done and is doing for Warren County. Then become a contributing member of the foundation, send big checks if you can, of course any amount will help the cause. Tell them Tony Martin sent you.

As far as attending the reunion! Well if I had a job I might have to work that evening and if I had to work I would have to decide whether or not using vacation to spend time with a bunch of relative strangers outweighed spending vacation time with my stranger relatives. If I choose to not attend here are my responses to the questions I might be asked if I did attend. I have two, kids, not grandkids. I try not to work.

And my parting thoughts if I attended would be as follows. Stay just as you are! Don’t ever change! You’ll go far! Good luck in the future! We are fine, we drink wine, we are the class of ’79.
